SCANDINAVIAN DESIGN 

Scandinavian/ Scandi design originates from the Nordic countries and has been inspired by their simple living, fusing accessibility and affordability, creating practical spaces that can be enjoyed by everyone. Furniture is always a huge and vital part of the Scandinavian interior and they are very artistically designed and yet very simple. The lines are crafted with some interesting details and have a sense of functionality in the design. Most times Scandinavian interiors are shown in shades of bright white and neutral beige with some elements of wide wooden planks on the floor, colorful plastics, aluminum/steel, to name a few. Due to long, dark winter months, natural lighting plays a very important part in this design style. Its comfy, airy, and functional characters make it a very appealing design concept to a lot of people.
